We are searching for an Account Executive to join our dedicated Public Sector team with a focus on strategic sales, account planning, leadership, relationship management, sales growth, navigating the organization, delivering quantifiable results, and solving agency problems for our government clients.

What you’ll be doing

 

The Account Executive role entails both new business sales and account management responsibilities for Experian’s Public Sector clients within the Federal Government.  You will plan and execute sales activities to meet aggressive new business growth goals, proactively uncover opportunities with targeted prospects and advance and close sales successfully.  The role spans pipeline creation and sales closure across Experian’s core business offerings:  Consumer Information Services and Business Information Services, with the primary focus being Consumer Credit solutions. This is a remote-based position within the DC Metro Area.

 

More about you

 

  • Successful sales experience within the Government Sector with a proven track record of expanding existing relationships and revenue opportunities 
  • Background in Financial Services, Technology or related field sales.
  • Solid business acumen, with a strong understanding of corporate financial priorities and the initiatives designed to deliver revenue and profit expectations.
  • Proven ability to prospect and translate net new territory into active pipeline
  • Understanding of Federal Government procurement and bid process is a must
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Travel required, as necessary
