Purpose:
Reporting directly into the HR Director – Global Finance, the Senior HRBP is responsible for the delivery of first-class HR partnership to 8 Senior Executives across the Corporate Functions & Global HR, (Group Financial Controller, UK&I and EMEA CFO, EMEA CFO, Global Head of Internal Audit, Director – Corporate Finance, Company Secretary, Head of Corporate Development UK&I and EMEA and Global HR Director) across 27 countries, with 260 line managers and 1,200 employees. Acting as a trusted advisor, enabling a fast-paced, agile working environment to drive change - including continuous improvement, focussing on driving high performance and future-proofing the current and future workforce to increase overall business performance.
The main areas of focus are leading and supporting key talent hires, upskilling of leadership/line management capabilities with particular focus on cultivating and embedding a high-performance culture and partnering with regional talent acquisition teams to create and design a globally aligned recruitment strategy for the Finance function.
As a result, the successful candidate needs the gravitas to influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Critical to the role will be the ability to communicate and influence effectively, and to ensure that Human Resources continues to be seen as added value across the Corporate Functions and wider organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a sound commercial understanding of the markets, strategies and operations within which the Experian operates so as to flex and deliver plans and initiatives accordingly.Act as a trusted Partner to assigned business areas, to support business planning and operational decision-making of the business unit management teams.Support identification of the human capital agenda and priorities, ensuring delivery of a People Plan engage, network and work collaboratively with Global Finance HR/Global HR colleagues across countries / regions to ensure smooth delivery of people plans and activities.Provide the businesses with expertise in HR, organisational development and business change interventions, so as to translate business needs and plans into organisation/people solutions with minimal risk to Experian and ensuring efficient & effective deployment of resources.Facilitate delivery of performance & talent management processes within assigned business areas and work with the Business to ensure outcomes are defined and optimised at all levels.Identify and ensure that the right level/mix of HR expertise is applied to meet core business activity & projects; working collaboratively with Global Finance HR/Global HR colleagues across countries / regions to ensure smooth delivery.Articulate and optimise human capital data needs, insight and metrics in line with role demands. Analysing and identifying trends in all data provided to inform future planning in business units. Personally act as a ‘change agent’ within the business areas, developing and influencing a network of relationships within and coaching business managers where necessary to help achieve business transformation goals, be an ambassador for our Brand and culture within Experian.Develop and implement with the business areas, action plans in response to the results of the annual People Survey. Ensure sharing of best practise/ideas across HR colleagues to drive consistent approach.Maintain a strong customer service ethos and focus both internally and externally to encourage speed of response and exemplary standards of service.Management of an HR Manager based in the UK. Coaching, supporting and developing the HR Manager as we drive to increase high performance and the value that the HR function brings.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above, or equivalent)CIPD qualified, but not essential
Essential:Demonstrated success in working within a complex, matrixed structure – working collaboratively, virtually and utilising strong influencing skills. Previous experience in a Senior business partnering role supporting multiple business units/functions. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of a professional organisation and across countries, cultures and disciplines simultaneouslyPragmatic approach and delivery focussed; with a flair for working collaboratively – being visible and keen to connect to build a strong network across the organisationKnowledge and experience of off shoring/ near shoring and workforce dynamics associated with shared service centres Experience of organisational change – ideally cross borderExcellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacyProven ability to effectively organise, prioritise and handle multiple assignmentsStrong attention to detail and accuracy
