The SVP, Platform Commercialization role is a key strategic role in pursuit of these objectives, responsible for designing and executing the strategy for sustainable above-market growth in the business unit as well as driving short term performance and execution of the strategy in partnership with regional Identity & Fraud leadership.

The SVP of Platform Commercialization connects with the regional Identity & Fraud teams and the broader Identity & Fraud product management organization to capture and leverage the critical business, customer, market and performance insights needed to maximize revenue and market share growth. The success of this role will be materially dependent on the ability of the successful candidate to manage effectively across the regional matrix – notably in mobilizing the regional Decision Analytics teams to sell and deliver the Identity & Fraud portfolio into their client bases. As a result, a high aptitude for influencing and delivering successful outcomes through others will be critical.

Key Responsibilities of this Role include:

• Review and improve comprehensive strategy and execution plans that position Experian as the leading provider of Identity & fraud solutions
• Create a strategy that identifies needs of target customer segments globally, distinguishes commercial opportunities and risks, and drives the business to execute in order to retain and grow our customer base
• Effect a culture of understanding product usage and feeding directly obtained learnings back into the product and regional client engagement
• Lead efforts to capture market share from competitors and drive net new revenue through innovation and new products and services, working with the appropriate internal parties to ensure our solutions are market leading
• Establish and cement a strong operating model with regional Identity & Fraud leaders to ensure performance by product/solution and region is being adequately addressed; as well as ensure the right level of regional feedback is obtained to inform investment cases and product development; provide executive guidance to help refine go-to-market strategy
• Deliver appropriate commercial policy to regions, including commercial models and pricing guidance based on value assessment for all client segments and tiers across the portfolio of solutions
• Determine how to extend the CrossCore platform business model and ecosystem for maximum impact and success
• Create and socialize investment cases to obtain the necessary funding to develop the global Identity & Fraud solutions portfolio in order to retain and drive growth including expansion into the adjacencies of largest opportunity such as Risk Based Authentication and Customer Identity as a Service
• Determine and communicate how to position, price, market, commercialize and distribute next generation capabilities such as Risk Based Authentication propositions and ensure they are launched in region with impact, including via channel partners where applicable
• Ensure key messages and points of differentiation are amplified and communicated out to our regional sales teams and customer base and that all propositions are launched with impact
• Ensure clear product lifecycle strategy exists and is adhered to in region including upgrades/migration paths and product sunsets, with strong commercial rationale and appropriately design for the different client segments and regions
• In each region, understand the unique requirements of client and the local market. Identify and prioritize solutions to solve and feed into product management.
• Act as key constituency in reviewing prospect partners and acquisition targets for proposition fit and ability to execute

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Leadership success requires:

• Build out and leading a small team who will work around the world with regional Identity & Fraud product teams, regional sales leaders and their teams, partners, clients, and global product management and development to deliver exceptional capabilities and experiences to our customers and their customer end users
• Provide the leadership required to accelerate the monetization of a localization strategy for our CrossCore platform and associated backing applications, including partners
• Provide the leadership to build out a community around our Identity and Fraud ecosystem.
• Establish and lead the Customer Advisory Board(s) and other client and market engagements as required to ensure Experian is receiving the necessary inputs to the Identity and Fraud strategy and execution plan.
• Maintain an external focus and client facing orientation
• 5-10 years experience in a related commercial/product oriented role, which leadership responsibilities
• Proven track record of setting strategy, creating buy-in and delivering impressive results to increase revenue for the business
