DescriptionExperian’s CIS Product Development Intern Program offers an opportunity to learn about Experian’s core business systems, technologies and methodologies. The intern program is targeted towards undergraduate and postgraduate students and gives exposure to fundamental programming, DevOps tools, QA Automation and development principles through project work. As a member of one of Experian’s CIS development teams, you'll analyze business issues, recommend solutions, demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving abilities, and work with peers and business partners to understand financial decisions that maximize shareholder value.
The CIS Product Development Intern Program is a part-time (20-32 hrs per week) 6 to 9-month assignment with the possibility of conversion to full-time given open reqs are available at the conclusion of the internship. Your manager will assign a mentor to provide you with appropriate training and guidance, outline the scope of work to be performed, meet with you regularly to provide support as needed, and help you network within the company to ensure a rewarding internship experience.
Internship responsibilities may include:
- DevOps Tools Support
- QA Automation/Test Case Inventory Maintenance
- Research and analysis
- Client onboardings and setups
- Adhoc reporting
- UI/UX design
- Web analysis/optimization
Knowledge, Experience & QualificationsQualifications:
- Experian is seeking motivated undergraduate and postgraduate candidates with graduation dates between 2018 and 2020 with a degree emphasis in Computer Science. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
- Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving skills, ability to learn concepts quickly, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to deliver results quickly while working in a dynamic, cross functional, team-oriented environment
- Experience working in Scrum Agile environment preferred
- Experience with Performance Test tools a plus
- Working knowledge of test automation and/or test scripting preferred
- Working knowledge using Robot Framework a big plus
