Product Manager, Automotive Dealer Solutions

Manage the product lifecycle activity for a broad set of Automotive dealer products within Experian Automotive that support its strategic growth initiatives.
This includes:
• Understanding of market needs, client requirements and competitive analysis
• Daily interaction and collaboration within agile development team environment
• Support of product roadmaps and regular status updates with IT, sales, and senior management
• Provide clear direction on requirements for products and go-to-market activity within the managed product portfolio
• Engagement of Voice of the Customer throughout the product lifecycle

Essential Functions

• Managing product lifecycle activity for a set of auto dealer solutions
• Translating market understandings into compelling product requirements
• Conduct research and analyze data on product positioning, pricing and revenue, competitor products and services, and market trends to identify and recommend product enhancement and development opportunities
• Support, create and maintain product business plan(s) and roadmaps
• Drive a consistently high level of quality and ingenuity in detailed product management deliverables (e.g. business cases, marketing requirements, compliance documents, pricing, sales tools)
• Utilizing Voice of the Customer throughout the product lifecycle to discover and validate market feedback (both existing and future clients) and for win/loss analysis
• Provide product management direction to the product management team(s); drive execution and collaboration with IT leadership and development teams
• Provide sales support presentations, demos, RFI/RFP responses, and development of relevant collateral (e.g., product brochures, data sheets, white papers, case studies, etc.)

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Formal Training/Education:
- Bachelor degree required
- MBA strongly preferred

Experience:

- Requires a minimum of 6+ years of experience in product management in a marketing information, data, services or technology company
- Extensive Online / Automotive / IT industry experience
- Demonstrable experience working with data-driven solutions
- Proven, solid track record in utilizing analytical tools, metrics and models for both managing product portfolios and creating product road maps
- Strong understanding of relevant markets, strategies, and products/services
