Our Business Information Services team is a fast growing, entrepreneurial organization within Experian. In support of achieving our aggressive growth targets, we are hiring Client Marketing Specialists (CMS) for our vigorously growing Business Development group. Acting as the first touchpoint to our potential customers, our CMS’s play an integral role in qualifying leads, implementing proven tactics to help ensure the successful execution of outbound marketing campaigns, and supporting customer acquisition and sales strategies. Responsibilities directly contributing to the success of our business, include:

  • Providing inside sales support to our direct sales division by speaking directly with customer leads generated by marketing
  • Building and managing a pipeline of leads through prospecting and qualifying outbound-generated calls
  • Researching targeted accounts to generate potential business opportunities
  • Supporting marketing campaigns by identifying new contacts within targeted accounts and markets
  • Communicating the value proposition of Experian products to the sales organization
  • Assist in developing sales tools which support the selling process by removing barriers and creating customer advocates
  • Assisting in the gathering of market feedback by representing the ‘Voice of Customer’
  • Reporting on the success of campaigns and lead generation activities through data insights.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 – 3 years of account management or sales experience – hospitality industry experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Products
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset
  • Ability to learn business and sales concepts quickly through online education, team members and mentoring and coaching
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and driven to win
  • Self-starter, strong personality and ability to network
