The Automotive Project Manager will have overall responsibility for meeting client expectations through the delivery of solutions to Automotive Clients. Responsibilities include defining client solution requirements, documenting, planning, and managing multiple projects, and maintaining strong client relations. To provide effective project management and consultation to clients, the Automotive Project Manager will need to develop a core knowledge of Experian services including Automotive, Credit (e.g. prescreen, account review, analysis), Marketing Services (e.g. CRM, Digital), and cross business unit solutions.

Responsibilities:

The Automotive Project Manager will leverage resources and maintain solid relationships with Sales, Product Marketing, Compliance, IT, and Client to ensure the fulfillment of quality deliverables. Provide leadership direction for projects to ensure that deliverables meet client expectations. Consult with Sales and Client on products, processes, and solutions. Support the sales team during the early opportunity assessment and proposal phase. Support Sales in the understanding and documentation of the client’s business needs and solutions. Manage the solution delivery process from point of sale to the point of delivery to the client. Follow change management and communication protocol. Provide project updates to all stakeholders and escalate issues when applicable. Conduct periodic post project reviews to emphasize the overall value provided by the solutions.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Program Management function
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects and deliverables with sensitive deadlines
  • Previous experience that demonstrates effective interaction in a team or matrix environment
  • Ability to travel
  • Automotive Industry knowledge preferred
  • PMI PMP certification preferred
