We are recruiting for a Strategic Client Director to join the HD Decisions team.

HD Decisions brings together analytical insight, rich data sources and flexible, real-time web based applications to drive value. We develop data and technology products for lenders specialising in pre-qualification services. Our tools allow price comparison websites and financial services providers to profile their customers and match them to the most suitable products, radically improving the value proposition for consumers and at the same time increasing revenue. Our goal is to create value for our clients and their customers and our success is proven – we grew by over 40% last year.
The role of Strategic Client Director is a senior position within the Sales & Commercial Team with responsibility for our Price Comparison and Aggregator sector relationships. The Price Comparison sector is growing significantly and swiftly evolving as innovative propositions emerge. Price Comparison organisations are looking for HD Decisions to collaborate and the Strategic Client Director will ensure our teams engage effectively and maintain a strong forward momentum.
In addition we see a proliferation of new and established organisations entering the Price Comparison market and we endeavour to maximise the number of distribution channels available to our lenders to market their products. In this regard, the Strategic Client Director will define and execute our new business development strategy and have line management responsibility for our Price Comparison Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Line management: Price Comparison Business Development Manager.
  • Ownership and development of some of our largest client relationships across the price comparison sector.
  • Achieve revenue budgets by leading our commercial engagement with clients and prospects including; Go-To-Market strategy, compelling proposals, pricing strategy, contracting, account management.
  • Contribute significantly towards HD Decision’s strategic roadmap
  • Influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver against our strategic roadmap
  • Leveraging expertise within the price comparison markets to explore new concepts with potential or existing partners. Support the design of solutions for clients.
  • Conduct client business reviews, providing market and product expertise
  • Strong commercial awareness and aptitude
  • Extensive experience of contract management and negotiation
  • Highly consultative, business development focussed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • The agility to respond in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional demeanour under pressure
