Learning and Development Partner – Experian – NottinghamJob Description:We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Learning and Development (L&D) Partner to join our Decision Analytics division within Experian. You will be responsible for the ownership of a variety of L&D digital learning solutions for our products with specific focus on developing material for our Decisioning and potentially our Advanced Analytics software. This role partners with global product managers and other key stakeholders to scope, research, design, deliver and evaluate a variety of product related L&D Interventions. Project management skills are needed to implement the learning solution.Most digital learning solutions that we develop are for internal use, however, the role is also responsible for client facing content that we host on an external client facing learning management system.The L&D Partner will lead the L&D workstream for a range of projects ensuring that the L&D solutions align to the agreed requirements and are evaluated to demonstrate their return on expectations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPartnering and Learning Needs Analysis/scoping:• Effective partnering with key senior stakeholders from across Decision Analytics ensuring their needs are identified, documented and achievable in line with scoping document• Act as a Learning & Development Subject Matter Expert• Tke ownership for the learning needs analysis process for multiple projects, identifying stakeholders, capturing the project’s requirements, making recommendations, outlining aims and objectives of each intervention, agree on measures of success and develop the end to end project plan.• Analyse data to evidence the needs identified/provided and use it to support recommendations for L&D Interventions• Agree learning aims and objectives for each intervention recommended and ensure they are clearly aligned to supporting the success of the relevant business strategy• Influence key stakeholders to sign off and buy into creative interventions• Able to demonstrate strong upwards communication skills.Design:• Extensive experience in shaping storyboards for digital content – sometimes this will be with involvement of an instructional designer and often as a direct part of this role• Good understanding of digital learning & innovative practices• Strong understanding of Bloom’s Taxonomy when identifying objectives• The ability to understand systems and business processes quickly and convert into learning designDelivery:• Work with global marketing and product management and on occasions regional teams to shape digital learning content that has been designed with the needs of the target audience in mind.• Provide L&D advice where need in support of L&D interventions.Evaluation:• Evaluate the impact and return on investment of the interventions on business success as agreed with stakeholders during the Learning Needs Analysis stage.Project Management:• Act as project lead managing the end to end overall timescales and sign-off processes for deliverables ensuring clear milestones and required feedback processes are defined and met.• Manage multiple stakeholder feedback and successfully handle conflict or contradictory commentsReporting and Data:• Use data to evidence the rationale behind decisions made and recommendations on which L&D Interventions are based• Produce regular reports on activity and performance for clarity and transparency of achievements and business benefit, contributing these to overall L&D reporting• Use data to identify trends in learning usage and up take and manage accordingly to maximise up take ratesWhat we need from you:• A recognised L&D Professional Qualification such as Cert L&D Practice or equivalent is essentialExperience:• Extensive L&D partnering and /or consulting experience and can clearly demonstrate an in-depth understanding and experience of the partner’s role in stakeholder-centred approach.• Experience working in a complex global matrix organisation.• Able to demonstrate a very analytical mind-set due to potential involvement in advanced analytics related learning.• Ideally have financial sector experience.• Demonstrable evidence of having applied the skills of L&D partnering within different contexts and employed a range of consultancy skills in order to maintain effective relationships.• Extensive experience of designing digital learning solutions.• Experienced in the training associated with complex system releases and financial products.• Evidence of end to end Project Management skills from delivering L&D Interventions in previous roles evidenced by the ability to produce comprehensive plans.• Detailed understanding and practical usage of L&D methods and schools of thought:• Able to demonstrate a commercially aware mind-set.• Be able to work in a fast paced environment of change and be agile in approach and thinking• Coaching and facilitation experience useful but not necessary• Experience within an FCA regulated environment would be useful• Experience of a range of global cultures would be helpful.
