Strategy and Business Development Associate

Experian is seeking a high performing Strategy and Business Development Associate who will be an integral part of the Strategy and Business Development team. The Associate will support Business Development in analyzing and modeling strategic partnership opportunities, Commercial deal RFP’s, and supporting Strategy in developing the strategic plan, presentation of data and analytics to senior management and clients, other market and financial analysis, as required. Location: New York, NY, Schaumburg, IL, Washington, DC, or Costa Mesa, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial & Strategic Deal Support:
• Commercial and Strategic Deal Modeling: support the Business Development and Sales teams on strategic commercial opportunities and structuring other strategic partnerships
• Develop deal structure and pricing strategies for various opportunities
• Manage RFP process for large strategic Commercial RFPs
• Due Diligence: Evaluate sales, partnership, and acquisition opportunities
• Maintain/update all pricing models to reflect costs
• Create new sales models to support potential new business segments
• Analyze new sales and strategic partnership’s economics and assist in contract structuring to maximize overall returns on investment
• Prepare presentations for use with customers and partners
Business Strategy:
• Identify and analyze key business, market, and product opportunities in alignment with strategy
• Execute strategy projects in collaboration with business leaders to define work products, executing research, and presenting findings and recommendations
• Assist with process for reviewing and approving the pricing of existing or new solutions
• Perform market analyses, develop financial models and analyses and create written materials
• Assist in building business cases, define value, execute thorough due diligence, participating in negotiations, preparing contracts, and presenting to Executive Leadership Team
• Assist in developing annual Strategic plan and long-range plan and preparing presentations for senior management

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Education: BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
• 5+ years works experience with at least 2 years experience in strategy/management consulting;
• Deep understanding of internet advertising and advertising technology
• Experience in a business development or strategic partnership capacity a plus.
• Ability to perform market/industry and financial modelling
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation and Excel skills
• Synthesize financial, operating and strategic information and present findings to senior management in executive summary; excellent written and verbal communications
• Self-starter with strong business acumen and analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Solid business judgment with excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Effective multi-tasking capability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
