Job Purpose

Support the Project Delivery carrying out elements of software configuration, and testing to develop software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1.- Technical Deliver/Development

Configure technical environment for software solutions projects.

Accountable for the execution of internal technical tests, the follow up of issues and providing resolutions during SIT and UAT.

Provide technical customization using standard components.

Lead product installation following guidelines.

Identify complex technical risks for escalation purposes.

Provide accurate estimation on some specific components supporting the creation of proposal.

Accountable for quality of Technical Build activities.

Providing guidance and best practice approaches to software development using object oriented development process, for high performance, robust, complex, multi language, multi-platform application and library development.

Accountable for quality and re-usability of existing software blocks

2. Technical Support

Provide investigation on the logged issues.

Provide resolution for complex issues respecting SLAs.

Provide details to technical management for complex issues.

Drive DB Performance improvement initiatives.

Drive Performance and Technical stress testing activities.

Drive benchmarking activities.

3. Personal Development

Confirm specialization on at least two or more solutions, in technical delivery/support or development domain.

Attend one technical training related to specialization domain.

4. Teamwork and Leadership

Take the lead in specific projects/support technical activity.

Act as a mentor to project team members, guiding less experienced technical analysts.

Input into regular appraisals and Personal Development Plans for project team.

Ensure communication of project issues.

Foster team spirit and mutual co-operation.

Provide regular reporting to project manager, technical consultant and line manager.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.

For Developer: 3-5 years experience in Microsoft .NET and/or Java technologies (and related).


Significant experience of software solution design and configuration.

Extensive technical knowledge of two Experian DA products

Experience in the use of Experian software configuration tools and general purpose IT packages.

Understanding of the capabilities of the EDA product range and ability to assist clients in implementation and testing of new solutions.

Experience of delivering numerous complex technical solutions across multiple industry verticals.

Understanding and experience of the DA delivery lifecycle for applicable Experian DA solutions.

Understanding of systems, processes, applications and technology supporting applicable Experian DA solutions.

Demonstrates continuous improvement of skills as well as an interest and understanding of latest technology developments that could be applied to Experian and Experian clients.

Knowledge on industry standard technologies (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostGreSQL, Web sphere, Linux, Windows, Microsoft .NET, Java, SOA, Web services, Scripting languages).

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Good oral and written communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English.

Ability to travel.
