We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join the Experian pH team based in London.
Experian pH are a leading data analytics and database marketing services firm. They are looking for an Analyst to join their rapidly expanding team. You will be providing analysis and consulting services & solutions, within a data environment, to FTSE 250 clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with some major blue chip clients across a number of sectors including Banking, Energy and Telecommunications.

You will also be working directly with senior members of the organisation on a structured career path, which will start with data analysis, consultancy work, database/SQL/Oracle development, eventually leading to autonomous management of your own projects and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Running of simple and complex batch processes to deliver campaign support to clients
  • Simple and complex coding to extract data from files to underpin campaign activities
  • Checking of own and others work for selections and data errors
  • Counts and simple analytical results - Time Taken 25%
  • Provision of counts and profile analysis to support campaign and strategic activity for clients
  • Running and monitoring of batch files to complete regular client data processes
  • Small adjustments to batch processes to evolve processes
  • Writing of basic batch processes for new clients
  • Engagement with marketing and other teams at clients to ensure briefs and data deliveries are understood and fulfilled accurately and to expectations.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who has:

• Degree or equivalent/experience in a highly numerate discipline (i.e Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, IT/Computer Science etc)
• Basic SQL and/or basic Oracle skills
• General Database skills
• Analytical thinking with numerical and data problem solving skills
• Understanding of data, data structures and their value regarding use for analysis, marketing and CRM
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills to engage externally with clients
• Time management to complete multiple task to set deadlines
