Description

As the Sr. Product Consultant, you’ll be responsible for driving innovation in Experian’s growing Fraud & Identity business. As part of the Fraud & Identity Product Management team, support and/or lead activities for new products, product enhancements, and product marketing strategies. Act as a liaison among internal clients, business unit functional areas and product engineering teams to ensure effective coordination among participating groups. The position will play a key role connecting product and other Fraud & Identity teams – Technology, Implementation, Customer Service and Support, Sales Engineers, Customer Relationship Managers, and more. Provide feedback to product team and engineering regarding process and product improvements.
• Champion and evangelize F&ID products & solutions.
• Lead process improvement projects & diverse ad hoc initiatives supporting fraud risk and identity verification product management working across lines of business and with strategic clients.
• Research market gaps and product growth opportunities, and manage initiatives to analyze their financial potential and strategic fit.
• Lead efforts to onboard F&ID partners.
• Lead product configuration management activities and updates to product documentation.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise as related to Experian’s Fraud & ID platforms, data and analytics, to include addressable markets, detailed functionality, best practices, and competitive positioning.
• Some travel, estimated at 10%, may be required.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Qualifications
• 5-10 years consulting experience, leading complex initiatives.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Problem solver. Takes initiative - must have a proven record of being able to execute.
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and management skills.
• Analytical skills with an exceptionally strong attention to detail - Ability to communicate plans and decisions thoughtfully. Ability to circulate information to multiple types of audiences (clients, executives, sales, technical and business teams)
• Great organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives, react to shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
• In depth experience with large financial Institutions and/or large e-commerce merchants.
• Knowledge of NA Fraud and Credit Regulations.
• Knowledge of US payment platforms and payment landscape.
• Knowledge of Identity Access Management and authentication technology landscape.
• Strong technical skills. Understanding of API design concepts and modern application interaction patterns.
• Experience working with SQL or SAS.
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
