We are growing our Third Party Security team and looking for energetic, talented security professionals to become our next Senior Third Party Security Assessor.

The Global Security Office Third Party Security team (GSO -TPS) helps ensure that Experian’s third parties are protecting Experian data in accordance with Experian policies, contracts and industry best security practices. This is achieved by understanding the key assessment processes, our entities’ connectivity methods, data usage and handling, internal and external standards and applicable regulations; and using that knowledge to plan and execute remote or onsite security assessments.

The Senior Third Party Security Assessor is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Planning and conducting information security reviews of business partners and third parties using Experian processes and standards remote or onsite assessments.
  • Assisting in developing and improving information security assessment program elements.
  • Assisting in developing, improving and implementing information security standards and requirements to guide business partners and third parties in adhering to security requirements
  • Identifying information security deficiencies or risks at third parties; providing escalation paths for information security issues, incidents and inquiries.
  • Partnering with senior management in business, legal and compliance departments to ensure the security assessment program is in line with our corporate values, compliance programs, laws and regulations, and enabling the business to achieve its objectives
  • Working with business partners, clients, customers, third parties and independent security assessors, to educate them about Experian’s Third Party Security requirements and assist in the interpretation and implementation of the requirements.
  • Researching laws, regulations, and policies as they pertain to information security and providing advice and assistance to internal and external partners and affiliates.
  • Identifying potential risk issues and recommending improvements or appropriate internal controls.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Qualified applicants for the Senior Third Party Security Assessor position should meet the minimum requirements as stated below:

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis.
  • Process driven and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, willingness to take on challenges and adaptability to change.
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCI QSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or comparable certifications.
  • Knowledge of IT Risk and Security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI, and HIPAA.
  • Strong understanding of key network and technical security controls.
  • Understanding of risks in banking / financial services sector are an added advantage.
  • Desired work experience 3 to 5 years as an IT auditor or information security assessor.
