The Global Data Network (GDN) is the global data platform that helps solve these challenges by providing accurate and up-to-date international business verification, corporate linkage, and credit information. The GDN consists of Experian commercial bureaus as well as third party strategic partners.

The GDN Product Management Director has overall responsibility of the vision, strategy, operations, product roadmap, partnerships and overall growth of the GDN program. This role will have accountability for executing against the current business plan and have oversight of planning for future build-out phases. This role reports directly into the President, Business Information Services NA, however is expected to heavily partner with the various senior leaders across Experian BIS regions. Successful candidates will both have 1) the soft skills required to negotiate with international stakeholders and navigate Experian’s organization matrix, and 2) a natural technical curiosity to dive into the details of a complex, distributed system and recommend technical or process changes necessary to improve the client experience and 3) strong commercial acumen to execute and maximize opportunities for Experian global. This position is highly visible across Experian’s business information bureaus across the world, and the Director will interact with both senior executive management and individual contributors, particularly within product development, product management, finance, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversight for the Global Data Network program end-to-end and serve as the ‘glue’ across the various functional, local and international teams
• Grow the overall program revenues in-line with business case expectations
• Target automation opportunities to scale GDN operations
• Serve as the resident international subject matter expert, assisting in large global deal pursuits
• Manage and expand existing data partners along-side local partnership managers
• Identify and develop new data partnerships to help expand global coverage and footprint, along-side local business development teams
• Be the primary spokesperson for the Global Data Network to encourage participation from regions
• Manage the core support team to resolve system issues, assist with client onboarding, prioritize change requests, and ensure smooth operation of core services
• Create a product development roadmap, carefully considering input from international business stakeholders
• Develop business case for next major phase of development and obtain buy-in from executive management
• Support Product and Sales with frequently asked questions regarding core data, partners, and business match processes
• Coordinate go-to-market and launch activities with business and technology teams; help coordinate a unified cohesive marketing message
• Maintain global key performance indicator dashboard and semi-technical documentation such as user guides

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in business credit, business information, product management or alliances management
• Excellent project planning and delivery skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, influence and leadership skills
• Proficiency in developing a vision and strategy, while executing the tactics; must be experienced in writing business cases
• Partnership management and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a diverse, matrixed and remote team of developers, analytics, marketing and sales teams
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and disruptive change as markets, partner networks, and regulations evolve
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• International travel required; expected to work flexible time zones given international scope
• Agile experience preferred
• Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus, though not required
