Experian’s Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions team is looking for three highly motivated undergraduates to participate in the Experian Internship Program. This highly competitive 12-week program offers hands-on experience into the world of venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, strategy and competitive intelligence. Throughout the program, you will be engaged in a project and end with a final presentation to the Chief Investment Officer. This experience is guaranteed to help build your resume and prepare you for a future in corporate strategy or finance.

Throughout the program, you will be exposed to:

  • Experian’s portfolio of business and strategic priorities
  • Introduction to strategic negotiation
  • Components of a deal – acquisitions, divestitures and minority investments
  • Due diligence across multiple functional areas
  • Preparation of evaluation materials for review by senior management and Board of Directors
  • Detailed research and analysis of markets and companies

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

  • A strong interest in M&A, strategy, or venture capital
  • Understanding of financial analysis and modeling
  • Eager to jump in, learn new things, and never afraid to speak up
  • Excited to make an impact on the business
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics or relevant field
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 3.0 G.P.A
The Experian Internship Program extends across our entire corporate headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA. In addition to working with the corporate strategy and M&A team, you will be participating in a larger cohort of all summer interns across Experian. You will be invited to participate in weekly “intern-only” events. These events include lunches with senior executives, volunteer activities, networking events, and career/resume workshops.
