Experian’s Data Quality business unit is looking for a talented, experienced software sales professional to join the Sales team as a Business Development Manager – Indirect Channels. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with generating revenue for Experian Data Quality (EDQ) specifically through launching, optimizing, and scaling value-add strategic partnerships. Success is measured by performance against a revenue target and MBOs as set forth by the Vice President of Sales.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through partners with a focus on building and nurturing referral reseller networks, OEM and VAR relationships. An effective Business Development Manager will demonstrate the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful go-to-market execution, as well as an aptitude for gaining access to new markets and new partnerships This individual who can think strategically and is adept at building and maintaining very strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization also thrives in a fast paced, high growth, results-oriented environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist the Vice President of Sales with the development of a world-class partner program
• Identify and engage new EDQ partners in assigned market and create strategic partnerships that result in net-new sales opportunities
• Retain and nurture existing partner base and optimize for profitable growth
• Develop strategic sales plans with partners to enable joint success
• Act as primary point of contact for partners and broker solution expertise within EDQ to assist co-selling with partner sales teams
• Represent EDQ at applicable tradeshows, conferences and events
• Work cross-functionally with EDQ go-to-market and marketing teams to develop successful partner strategy
• Proactively organize activities such as marketing campaigns, solution trainings, and joint strategy calls with partners
• Monitor competitive landscape to ensure EDQ partner program is best-in-class
• Demonstrate knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
• Adhere to all EDQ policies and best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure success of EDQ operational objectives

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Requirements:
• 10+ years of B2B sales experience in software or technology, with a focus on reseller partner channels required
• Knowledge of technology distributors, Master Agent networks and industry VAR’s preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant combination of training and experience required.
• Proven ability to prospect and develop net new partners and grow existing partner relationships
• Direct, proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Understanding of key industry verticals and their business drivers
• Experience working effectively with technical and commercial business stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in person, verbally and in writing with Senior & C-Level Management.
• Accomplished in lead generation and prospecting activities
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, within the United States and Canada
• Eligible to work in the United States
