Experian’s Data Quality business unit is looking for a talented, experienced software sales professional to join the Sales team as a Business Development Manager – Data Management. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with being an overlay to the overall sales organization assisting in generating revenue for Experian Data Quality (EDQ) specifically through the data management solutions. Success is measured by performance against a revenue target and MBOs set forth by the Vice President of Sales.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets with a focus on enabling and aiding the overall sales organization in building professional acumen and selling the data management solutions. An effective Business Development Manager will demonstrate the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful go-to-market execution, as well as an aptitude for gaining access to new markets and new partnerships. This individual who can think strategically and is adept at building and maintaining very strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization also thrives in a fast paced, high growth, results-oriented environment.

Core Responsibilities:
• Implement the recommendations of the strategic sales plan
• Maintain subject matter expertise on assigned solutions/services
• Assist in the discovery process with customers as an overlay to the sales team to understand business challenges and opportunities and bridge those needs with solution conversation
• Aid the overall sales organization in building professional acumen around assigned solution
• Perform public speaking at tradeshows, conferences and events
• Assist the Go-to-Market team by providing a feedback loop based on direct customer engagement
• Furnish market advice, counsel and general staff support to all departments within the organization.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and provide guidance to the product team regarding industry trends
• Assist in the development of marketing campaigns for new products and services
• Assist in the development of orientation and training programs for new employees and indirect partners
• Assist planning and executing any event, webinar, conference, etc that highlights assigned solutions
• Assist in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from constituents and communicate findings to marketing and product teams
• Demonstrate knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
• Adhere to all EDQ policies and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B sales experience in software or technology
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant combination of training and experience
• Direct, proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Understanding of key industry verticals and their business drivers
• Experience working effectively with technical and commercial business stakeholders
• Proficient communicator with Senior & C-Level Management
• Expert use of video conferencing technologies for demonstrations and solution positioning
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, within the United States and Canada
• Eligible to work in the United States
