Hiring Our Heroes – Helping Our Veterans Find Their Career at Experian.
At Experian, we understand the importance of embracing our veterans in the workplace. That’s why we are committed to hiring our heroes and helping veterans make an impact on the world with Experian.
Why does Experian have a commitment to hiring veterans for our diverse and collaborative teams? We want to honor those who have selflessly served their country – and what better way than to offer them a rewarding career at a fast-paced, innovative, growing company like Experian? We believe veterans offer a unique set of skills, abilities, and experiences that personify our company values and are critical to our continued success in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Our commitment to our heroes.
Veterans bring a unique skill set to our workplace. Their leadership, drive, integrity and problem-solving abilities help them succeed in our dynamic environment. Veterans also have the unparalleled experience of working in a culturally diverse and global setting. Because of this, we recognize how vital it is to have veterans on our team.
“With respect to career growth, I can say that my military background continues to be well respected by all employers, and Experian is no exception. I believe there is a general expectation that those with a military background are able to take on a wide variety and volume of challenges with great success, given a strong work ethic, team orientation, and a desire to excel and win. I enjoy Experian most as it relates to the culture of cooperation and teamwork, and I’ve made lifelong friends here that I want to work with and for, which motivates me each day.”
“By far the best part about being in the Army is the opportunity to serve with some of the greatest, most selfless people our country has to offer. It’s really a special camaraderie that you build, and one that carries on long after you leave the service. I’m honored to have the opportunity to work in a company that values the same principles I learned in the military – integrity, hard work, teamwork, and a customer-first approach.”
A community where you belong.
Our Military, Veterans and Patriots Employee Resource Group serves as a source of pride and inspiration for all those who have served in the armed forces, the families of those who have served or are actively serving in the armed forces, and those people who support them. Our MVP ERG provides professional and personal development, mentoring, networking and volunteer activities outside of the office.
Experian not only looks to provide career opportunities for veterans, but also believes in giving back to the veteran communities. We love participating in events such as Carry the Load, Suits for Veterans Hiring and the Murph Challenge. We also contribute to local veterans’ charities such as Operation Stand Down and Gold Star Mothers.
Make the transition to our team.
At Experian, we want veterans to have the support they need to succeed in their career and military transition. We offer various roles that put their military skills and leadership to work, including Corporate Functions such as Finance, Legal & Compliance, and HR; Technology, including Cyber Security, Networking & Infrastructure, and Software Engineering; as well as Sales, Project Management, and Client Services.
“We live and work in an ever-changing landscape of technologies and clients. Planning for change is a crucial component of achieving a goal and being successful in life, but even more so here at Experian. Experian offers the diversity and opportunity to excel and make an impact on our customers’ business. Above all else, perseverance has enabled me to meet the challenges and deliver on my objectives.”
“Raised in a small town in Texas, the Army opened my eyes to a new world. I met a diverse of wonderful people, tried new things, had an excessive amount of training and most importantly learned that when life gets tough, which it will, never give up. At Experian we honor that and more. We have a special culture, there are a multiple of employee resources you can reach out to, schedules are flexible – great work life balance, career growth is endless, supportive and great people, and so much more. I love working for Experian. The culture here has opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and I feel like I can be myself and excel on the traits that I am good at.”
We’re proud to partner with Camp Pendleton to host an annual career fair. We also attend the SAAC Career Fair, which is a great opportunity for veterans to learn more about opportunities with us.
